MONDUR 582

Mondur 582 is a low-to-medium functionality polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate (pMDI) with a moderately high 2,4 -MDI isomer content. It has a NCO content of 31.8-32.6% and viscosity of 40-70 mPas at 25°C. Mondur 582 has utility in binders and elastomers due to its reactivity. It can be used to produce semi-flexible and packaging foams for cushioning and insulation. When used in polymer concrete and membranes, Mondur 582 provides strength and durability under varying environmental conditions. As a joint material, it forms durable seals resistant to moisture and chemicals.
