Polytetrafluoroethylene Fine Powders

Daikin PTFE Fine Powder is a white agglomerated PTFE powder produced from emulsion polymerization of tetrafluoroethylene. PTFE has an extremely low dielectric constant for a solid polymeric material. PTFE films can also be expanded into microporous membranes, fibers, tubes, and films. Daikin Fine Powder products are designed for paste extrusion applications such as wire insulation, tubing, tapes and expanded film. Fine Powder PTFE readily absorbs organic solvents, which allow for the formation of a paste that can easily be extruded. Typical applications are sintered and unsintered tapes, thread seal tapes, expanded gaskets, tubing, convoluted tubing, heat shrinkable tubing, profile extrusion, wire insulation, coaxial wire insulation, fibers, filtration membrane, and apparel membrane. Homopolymer and copolymer grades are available.

Polyflon PTFE F-104: Polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-104 has been specifically designed for the manufacture of un-sintered tapes, sintered tapes and tubing at low reduction ratios.

Polyflon PTFE F-104U: A higher molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-104U has been specifically designed for the manufacture of un-sintered tapes, sintered tapes and tubing at low reduction ratios.

Polyflon PTFE F-107: A high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F107 has been specifically designed for the manufacture of un-sintered tapes, sintered tapes and porous applications at low reduction ratios.

Polyflon PTFE F-131: a high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-131 has been specifically designed for the manufacture of un-sintered tapes, sintered tapes and porous applications at low reduction ratios. It has high thermal stability and high stretch ratio capability.

Polyflon PTFE F-201: Polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-201 has been designed for spaghetti tubing, thin wall tubing and wire coating applications of less than 16 AWG that are run at high reduction ratios.

Polyflon PTFE F-201L: Polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-201L has been designed with low extrusion pressure for spaghetti tubing, thin wall tubing and wire coating applications of less than 16 AWG that are run at high reduction ratios.

Polyflon PTFE F-205: Polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-205 has been specifically designed for the manufacture of thin wall tubing and wire coating applications requiring good color, clarity, thermal stability and stress crack resistance. F-205 may be run at high reduction ratios and at high speeds.

Polyflon PTFE F-207: Polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-207 has been designed for small diameter coaxial cables and tubing applications that are run at high reduction ratios. F-207 is ideal for high frequency insulating applications because of its low, uniform dielectric constant and dissipation factor over a wide frequency range. F-207 also demonstrates good thermal stability and excellent dimensional tolerance at low extrusion pressures.

Polyflon PTFE F-208: Polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-208 has been designed for small diameter coaxial cables and tubing applications that are run at high reduction ratios. F-208 is ideal for high frequency insulating applications because of its low, uniform dielectric constant and dissipation factor over a wide frequency range. F-208 has good clarity and demonstrates excellent thermal stability and dimensional tolerance at low extrusion pressures.

Polyflon PTFE F-301: A high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-301 has been specifically designed for the manufacture of un-sintered tapes, sintered tapes, coated wire and tubing at low to medium reduction ratios.

Polyflon PTFE F-303: A high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-303 has been specifically designed for the manufacture of medium to large diameter thick wall tubing requiring improved heat resistance, thermal fusion and/or stress crack resistance properties. This grade exhibits high green strength required for vertical processing.
