DYNASYLAN 6490

DYNASLYAN 6490 is a reactive vinyl siloxane oligomer, methoxy functional concentrate that is an excellent compatibiliser between inorganic fillers and organic polymers. It contains vinyl and methoxy groups. DYNASYLAN 6490 has a high boiling point and flash point, giving it outstanding advantages with respect to safety and handling during processing. It is an adhesion promoter and dispersion agent in mineral filled compounds. DYNASYLAN 6490 improves filler dispersion, processability, reduces water-uptake, and provides excellent balance between tensile strength and elongation at break at a high level. It also improves chemical resistance, reduces tendency to stress cracking, and increases impact strength and abrasion resistance. These properties make DYNASYLAN 6490 well-suited for applications in the advanced materials industry where high performance filler dispersion, chemical resistance, and durability are required.
