Silanes, renowned as adhesion promoters, play a crucial role in various high-performance coatings, metal treatments, and resin systems. Acting as binding agents between organic resins and inorganic substrates, they enhance adhesion and durability. Additionally, silanes are employed to modify organic resins and contribute to resin synthesis. Widely utilized as adhesion promoters between inorganic materials and organic polymers, they also find application in mineral fiber insulating materials as additives to the binder system.
